RAAAAAAARGH!! ME SMASH!!

Working away in my room today; then, a knock at the door. It seems that someone objects to my grass-roots policy of turning off the landing lights at night so as to save energy. And it seems that this someone has the temerity to turn up at my door and ask me to stop doing it.

I particularly enjoyed these points in the diatribe:
"What makes you think you have the right to make decisions about the lights when lots of other people live on the staircase?"
"Yeah, but it's not nice when you're walking about in the dark."
And upon me pointing out that it will be considerably LESS nice when there's no atmosphere left:
"Well, hopefully I'll be dead by then, so I don't really care."

I refer you back to the title of this note.

And on my birthday, too.

Amazing!

On the 'select your mood' menu, this website has "quixotic" as a mood!

My opinion of the whole online profile concept has been vastly increased by this.

Bravo!

Well.

That's what I get for not instantly folding the first time someone told me I should get one of these things; i.e. a box saying 'You have no friends'. And it seems others have been just as cunning with the clandestine pseudonyms as I, such that I cannot go and FIND any people I know as they'll all have called themselves 'theministeroftruelies' or 'ebon_dragon' or 'squiggly_flower_1986' or something like that. Bah!

In conclusion, one should always fold instantly under the slightest peer pressure. Obviously.

Happy 15th of September all! Yes, 89 years to the day after Alexander Kerensky declared Russia a republic under the Duma, there's... this. Will my livejournal last longer than a democratic Russia? Probably will, to be fair. Kerensky was rubbish.

Anyway, this is here because various people have been complaining at me regarding my conspicuous absence on any of these online social networking sites. Also, if I'm not doing this, I'll feel obligated to go and do some of my university work.

So... away I go, to try and add diverting substance to the bare bones of this profile.
